It is a unique attraction as it is only available twice a month, during the new moon and full moon phases. As it is located in the middle of the Straits of Malacca, the beach only emerges when the tide is ideal.

Sasaran Beach is popularly known as the 'mirror in the sky' as the sky reflects off the bottom of the sea in shallow waters. The beach is also the habitat for marine agriculture because sea and baby clams are found in abundance in the sand.

Dubbed as the Sky Mirror, Sasaran Beach is also a haven for photographers. The beach is also one of the key attractions of Malaysia.
