Estimated to be more than 130 million years old, the Taman Negara is one of the oldest rainforest in the world. The national park covers 4343 sq. km. of thick jungle and fast-flowing rivers. It actually covers three states of Malaysia; Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu with Pahang covering the largest area of the rainforest.

Taman Negara is home to the critically endangered Malayan Tiger, the Asian elephant and seladang (Malayan gaur). The rare Malayan peacock-pheasant, great argus and red junglefowl can be spotted as well.

Get the opportunity to view the rich flora and fauna of Taman Negara on the world’s longest canopy walk which is 530m long and 40m above ground. It was originally built for research purpose but it became the main attraction for locals and tourists alike.

Other interesting activities that should not be missed include jungle trekking, night jungle walk, fishing, rapid shooting, boat cruise, cave exploration, bird watching and visiting orang asli settlement.
